… i pick up the camera and spring it on m. ‘right, stop what you’re doing, i’d like to take photos… pleeeeease.’ yesterday she insisted she looked awful, didn’t have any makeup on. i rewind and play back, ‘you’re 14, you don’t need makeup.’
…. and sometimes i call j to join us, pleeeeeeease. j plays up every time there’s a camera around.. my camera around. i have decided i’m going to bribe him…

on my way to feed our girls [chickens] last weekend, i noticed spring had blessed us with her arrival. our smoke tree is budding with new leaves and the tiniest of smoke tree flowers getting ready to pop. the smoke tree is one of my favourites, it reminds me of when i was in my teens. mum and dad had the same tree in their front garden. it’s so pretty, i had to have one in ours.

after weeks of preparing for today, saturday 11 september 2010… today came… and went! for the last couple of days i have been feeling a little apprehensive at the thought, the thought of the day. how it would be, would i be ok? would i have enough stock? too much stock? will people like my products? the nerves!
craft hatch was held at the city library behind one of my favourite cafés, journal. we, m,m & i, did of course…

i’ve just finished my christmas t.lighthaus© range and i’m rather proud of them. i know i know… it’s early, but i also know time goes sooooo fast, it’s ridiculous and upsetting. we’ll blink one day and christmas will be upon us, this i also know. i’m also anticipating a busy couple of months ahead, so i thought if i was super organised,
it could be to your advantage, if you’re interested that is.
