cold grey lazy sunday

has autumn made an appearance in 2011? i think not.
a cold crisp, ever so chilly winter’s day. a day for lounging in tracksuit pants [i will admit i have one pair and one pair only] and birkies, phfaffing, soy latte drinking, playing with new iPhone, walking the dog in the park, [bathing dog from mud in the park] and making a berry frangipane tart sort of a day.

YES it is, as i’m sure most, if not all of you would agree. i’m also sure you could tell a story or two and feel welcome to share. i love a good story of a great find. a cheap buy. being in the right place at the right time.

i sit here at 0:40am wondering what i’m doing here. this happens every night and every day i tell myself to go to bed early. i’m clearly not paying attention to myself. it’s genetic i’m sure. my paternal grandmother used to iron or wash clothes by hand at 2:00am [even though they had a washing machine]. my dad [still] works on the computer [or plays solitaire i think] until 1:00am. so here i am. i’m most productive at night, just …
